The
event took place in May this year and a fabulous total of £2122.00 was
raised. All who took part seemed to have a good time and competition
between the teams was fierce! Reigning champions from Queensferry Parish
Church, whilst defending their title admirably unfortunately were
“pipped to the post” (or tee!) by the Cheestoon F1’s. This is proving to
be a popular fundraiser and enjoyable event in Queensferry Care’s
fundraising calendar. Unfortunately this year saw our main organiser of
this event Rob Keating leaving the fundraising team as his wife Glenda
took over a new ministry in Symington, Ayrshire. Rob (and Glenda) will
always be welcome at Queensferry Care and we thank him for all his good
work and contribution to the fundraising activity over the years. Rob is
seen accepting a gift from our chair Peter FitzGerald in the photos.
