Volunteering gives members of local communities the opportunity to be
involved and have a say in what happens in their community.
As a local community resource we wish to involve as many people in the
management and delivery of our services as possible.
There are many ways people can support and volunteer their time and
skills to
Queensferry Care
-
Serve
on the Board of Directors.

Volunteer within day care to enable older people to make the most
of their day care experience.

Share a skill such as singing,
playing a musical instrument or skills in arts and crafts, which can
be enjoyed by older people using our services.

Assist
in the kitchen of our day care venues.
-
Become a Volunteer Befriender and visit isolated older people and carers to offer companionship, a link with the outside world and
information.

Become
involved by fundraising for the
Queensferry Care
All volunteers are offered support, training and out of pocket
expenses.
As we work with vulnerable clients
all
volunteers must be willing to undertake disclosure checks. For further
