Donald became a board member and Finance Director in 2026.

Where do or did you work?

Following his retirement from full time employment in 2012, he was an investment consultant and treasurer of another charity - positions he retired from prior to this appointment.

He is a qualified accountant and has spent more than 40 years in the financial services sector. He worked at the time UK's largest independent fund management company before co-founding a boutique company specialising on investment management. There he worked for over 20 years prior to retirement specialising on all aspects of corporate finance.

When and why did you get involved with QCCC?

He has known Susan Stewart for many years and was encouraged to join the Board in order to bring his previous charity and corporate experience to the Charity.

What hobbies and interests do you have?

His hobbies and interests include golf, gardening, music, walking and interacting with family and friends. In addition, he enjoys keeping up to date with a certain football team and business / finance.
