Day Opportunities

Day opportunities can include a home visit, outing within the community or Centre-based service. All activities are agreed with our members initially through their individual support plans, and then on an ongoing basis.

Day opportunities are available to anyone over the age of 65 on a continuous basis. One of the most important aspects of day opportunities is that it allows people to socialise within their communities and with their peers. QCCC promotes a person centred approach to delivering services with people being offered a wide range of activities and support both at the centre and at home that are designed to meet the individual's needs. Day opportunities operate Monday to Friday from our office at The Haven, 25B Burgess Road, South Queensferry. Our service is registered with the Care Inspectorate.
