Chairperson

We are delighted to welcome Susan as our Chairperson, nominated at our September 2026 AGM.

Where do or did you work?

Susan retired in 2022 as a nurse and midwife having held a variety of clinical and senior professional leadership roles in the NHS, Health and Social Care Partnerships and in Scottish Government over a fulfilling 40 year career.

When and why did you get involved with QCCC?

After a couple of years retirement Susan got involved with QCCC when her dad became a service user.  She became an active member of the Services Committee, a member of the Board in 2026 and hopes she can bring her experience in governance and the health and social care sector to QCCC.

What hobbies and interests do you have?

Susan’s hobbies include croquet, swimming, and socialising with friends and family.   She is married and has two grown up children.
