Befriending Networks awards funding to Queensferry Care

We are thrilled to announce Befriending Networks has awarded us with funding of £6000 allowing us to continue to support older people and their carers in South Queensferry, Ratho, Ratho Station, Dalmeny, Newbridge and Kirkliston with a continued commitment to befriending and tackling social isolation and loneliness.

Befriending Networks announcement 15 Sept 2021
We are delighted to announce the befriending organisations receiving funding from the Scottish Government’s Tackling Social Isolation and Loneliness Funding, through the £160k fund we were able to administer.
This grant was awarded to Befriending Networks to share with our members, delivering local befriending projects in Scotland. We were really pleased with creativity and quality of these applications, making our decisions difficult.
Queensferry Care have been awarded £6000 and we thank you again for your ongoing commitment to Befriending and tackling social isolation and loneliness.
