A tribute to our Honorary President Lady Lydia Stewart-Clark

On behalf of everyone connected with Queensferry Care I write to share how deeply saddened we are by the recent passing of a great friend and our Honorary President Lady Lydia Stewart-Clark.
Lady Lydia had served as the Honorary President of Queensferry Care for as long as my involvement as a member of the board, actively supporting our charity in providing care, support and friendship to the most vulnerable in our communities of South Queensferry, Ratho, Ratho Station, Dalmeny, Newbridge and Kirkliston.
Lady Lydia Stewart-Clark played a prominent and hands-on figure in her role and will be sorely missed by many including Sir Jack and their family. She was an active supporter of our mission, regularly hosting major events like our Silver Charity Jubilee Celebration in her home at Dundas Castle.
Many of our team and supporters regularly had the opportunity to speak and spend time in her company due to her participation and regular involvement in our fundraising efforts including a particular favourite of hers, our annual Golf Day, where after spending her time on the course she regularly presented the day's prizes and spent even more time with our supporters.
Lady Lydia's involvement was not just symbolic - she was known for her personal warmth and active presence and participation at events and meetings.
Lady Lydia will be sorely missed by many of us at Queensferry Care and our condolences go to Sir Jack and their extended family amongst our thanks for the valued contribution, Lady Lydia made to her communities.
