Charity Golf Tournament Raises Over £3,500

Queensferry Care and Rotary South Queensferry are celebrating the success of their 2026 Charity Golf Tournament after raising £3,501 to support older people across the local community.
Held at Dundas Parks Golf Club on Monday 4th May, the event welcomed 13 teams for a day of golf, fundraising and community spirit in glorious sunshine.
Funds were raised through sponsorship, donations, team entry fees and a raffle, with proceeds helping Queensferry Care continue delivering vital services including Day Opportunities, Lunch Clubs, Supper Clubs, Befriending, Driving Services, Garden Tidy Services and its Volunteer Hub.
The winning team on the day was Ferryburn Pharmacy with an impressive net score of 59. Glenbervie finished second with 61, Plewlandcoft placed third with 61 and Barker Boys took fourth place with 62.
A special moment during the event saw LC Gals become the very first recipients of the Lady Lydia Memorial Cup after achieving a score of 64 as the leading ladies team.
Queensferry Care and Rotary South Queensferry also thanked the many local businesses and organisations who supported the event, including Dundas Parks Golf Club, Dakota Hotels, Nippers Nursery, Hawes Garage, Mackie & Brechin Veterinary Surgery, Barclays Funeral Directors, Engaging Training, Dalmeny Cars and Ferry Tap.

Queensferry Care supports older people across South Queensferry, Dalmeny, Kirkliston, Ratho, Ratho Station and Newbridge through a wide range of community-based services designed to help people stay active, connected and independent.
