Community Cafe and Market raises £354.50
Updated:
What a lovely morning at our October Community Cafe and Market! 💚
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at The Haven 30 October 2026. We welcomed 40 happy customers, enjoyed seven wonderful stalls and launched our very own Cosy Night In seasonal gift box!
Our lovely volunteer bakers kept everyone well supplied with homemade fruit loaf, lemon drizzle cake and scones, while tea, coffee and friendly conversation were in plentiful supply.
And the icing on the cake? Together, we raised a fantastic £354.50 profit to support Queensferry Care’s work in our local community! 🎉
A special thank you to our wonderful volunteers, Elaine, Kelsey, Lisa, Lorna and Lauren, and to Kelsey’s mum, Ann, whose delicious homemade tablet sold like hot cakes!
Thank you also to our fantastic stallholders and, of course, everyone who came along to shop, enjoy a cuppa and support us. We couldn’t do it without you!
Missed out? Don’t worry! Our next Community Cafe and Market takes place on Saturday 28 November, from 10am to 12.30pm, at The Haven, 25B Burgess Road, South Queensferry.
We hope to see you there! 💚
