Christmas appeal launches to fund food, friendship and company for our older neighbours

Treat Norman and friends to food, friendship and company with our Queensferry Care Christmas Appeal.
Last year, Queensferry Care supported 400 local people through day opportunities, befriending, gardening, and with food and friendship at our lunch and supper clubs.
"I want to be able to keep walking to Lunch Club. A few of us go to the fitness class before the Lunch Club. I like the people, and I like the lunch. I like listening to the chat. I try to attend every time it's on. It's nice having something I can walk to. It helps keep me active." - Norman.
Christmas is the hardest season to feel alone. But it only costs around £10 to provide lunch or supper club for someone like Norman, so you could make a big difference.
As we face funding cuts, let's team up to care for the older people in our NW Edinburgh community. Thank you!

What could you give?
- £10 - funds one lunch or supper for an older neighbour
- £20 - lets a person with dementia and their carer enjoy supper club
- £30 - means three friends can meet up at lunch club
These figures reflect the overall costs of running these clubs. All funds raised this Christmas will be used to support the clubs over the coming year.
