Loony Dook 2026 raises over £1k for Queensferry Care

On 1st January 2026, our amazing Queensferry Care team including Andrew Burton, Chair of the Board; Lindsey Devin, Community Fundraiser; and local legend and friend Adam Naylor took on the Loony Dook to raise funds for Queensferry Care.
Queensferry Care has been supporting older people and carers across rural northwest Edinburgh for over 30 years - which means the Loony Dook, celebrating it's 40th year this year, is actually older than we are! Every year, we help around 400 local people stay connected, active, valued and well in later life. Your donation will help us continue to provide Day Opportunities at The Haven, Lunch and Supper Clubs, Support for Carers, Befriending and Community Connection, Practical help that makes everyday life easier and brighter. "We're proud to be part of such a caring community and what better way to celebrate that than by freezing our toes off for a good cause?" - Lindsey
Thank you to everyone who donated and cheered on the team. Thanks to donations from friends, colleagues, family and the community we raised a phenomenal £1,140 to support older people and their carers.
